Wow...I hadn't realized this shift had happened.

It used to be that if you had a "brick and mortar" business you were considered stable and reliable. It was the online marketers who were seen as "shaky".

But now, if you have a local business but NO website, people think you've got something to hide or aren't worth their time! Ouch!

Red Tory is a fantastic book on how both the "Right" and the "Left" are not so different in all to many ways. While the Left historically has supported regimes that put the economy under the control of the state delivering subsistence wages, the "Right" has supported businesses which do their best to deliver their own brand of subsistence.

Ok here's the latest in the way of an Info Product Killer Review.

This post makes a good point not only about THIS product, but many "product launches" being made these days.

Do you really think you can get nearly $2000 worth of bonuses (as one website promised) for $37?

Please, really, how dumb are you?

But more to the point, you're buying (or selling as this person was) a product titled "Info Product Killer".

You KNOW it's designed to show people how not to rely on so much of the bogus junk on "internet marketing" and you're STILL using the "bull" IPK is warning you against to sell it?

Isn't that like offering a free trip to Vegas to join Gambler's Anonymous?

Come on people. That's just crazy.

Ok, for the second time today... on this Info Product Killer Review

Info Product Killer is NOT A SCAM.

But here's where I predict it will be called a scam.

When you get to the details of how to get Google to send you no cost search engine traffic so you can make money, you begin to see where the WORK comes in.

The easiest thing for a lazy person to do is see the work involved and declare "THIS IS A SCAM"!

But if you are not afraid of work, check out this Info Product Killer Review ... it will at least be SMART WORK

In doing some research about do it yourself debt settlement plans, I ran across this information on Statutes of Limitations on Debt by State.

IIt is interesting to know your rights in this regard. Some creditor's "sell" their debt at a discount and the new "owner" attempts to collect.

IIf they do, you may really owe nothing at all. They are just trying to recoup their investment in a new list of people to intimidate. You may try asking to see the original note!

The Currency of Hope is is the Debtors Anonymous version of the "Big Book" used by "AA". It and some companion volumes by Jerrold Mundis help people to understand how the issue of debt for them in not just a matter of bad math, but a symptom of deeper issues whether you call them addiction, compulsion or attachments of the soul.
These books remind us that when debt is a persistent theme in our lives and relationships and that underearning is a persistent theme in our lives, then perhaps a 12 step approach is in order. (At my friend's church they have a program called Celebrate Recovery with a "financial" sub group.)

How do you know if this is YOUR issue? Try these 15 questions about your attachment to debt. They help people discern if debt, for them, is more than just an item on a balance sheet that's taking care of itself. If it's something more, these questions can be helpful to get "under the hood" of your psyche and discern what's really motivating you.

Why would some "Association" supposedly operated on the behalf of "Retired Persons" want to support Obamacare?

Well, Dick Morris tells why. By forcing seniors out of a competing program back into Medicare with it's gaps, it will force many to buy "Medigap Insurance". Guess who thinks they'll cash in? AARP!

So much for advocating for seniors. These people are only advocating for themselves!

Perhaps we can get AARP prosecuted as a Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organization? They may or may not meet definitions in the statute, but, by their actions, they show themselves eminently corrupt.

Where I Compare Mobile Phone Deals

I've learned through hard experience that I can't properly compare mobile phone deals by just going to a store representing ONE wireless company. Instead, I know to buy my cell phone online from a retailer who represents the major carriers so I can decide the best cell phone provider.

By searching the available options in my own zip code, I don't get disappointed hearing about some "big city" or nationwide deal that's not available in my own area. I find out what's available to me. I can compare mobile phones from multiple carriers, different types of cell phones, and compare by the price range of the phone itself.

By searching an online database like the one at Compare Mobile Phones ASAP you can really see what is available in your town ... you can't find the same information at a single company's wireless store!

When Helping Hurts: Alleviating Poverty Without Hurting The Poor is a powerful book that ought to be read by every non profit in America claiming to "help the poor".

In fact, it ought to be read by every government bureaucrat whose agency "helps the poor" or claims to.

Why? Because well meaning people do things that have unintended consequences. In World War II, American GI's in the Pacific were kind to the native people who, before their arrival, effectively lived in the "Stone Age".

The GI's generosity made them incredibly rich and well off for their circumstances. Until the War ended that is. "Cargo Cults" emerged where these people prayed to the "god" to return - the GI's!

That's the kind of charity that breeds dependence, not independence. Are you trying to help people sustain themselves or do you just want to start a "cult"?

I presume we want to help others become independent - at least that's the kind of charities I wish to support. Maybe charities should have a credential that says "We use practices that foster independence"?
